Under Hand

In 2008, Shen Yanmei received a call and rushed back to Qingnongkou. Her mother left, leaving behind an unfinished painting of a peacock, two hundred thousand foreign debts, and an embroidery needle called Niangzhen. She planned to close her shop and return to Suzhou, but she saw a line on the last page of her account book: "I will keep the needle and teach her when she comes back." She tore up the ticket. Later, three more people came - Zheng Jiashu who was playing games, Fang Nianyang who was writing a diary and dared not speak out, and Xia Jiao whose hands were full of screws. Four people spent ten years pulling an embroidery shop that was about to collapse from the mud. In the end, they found that it was not just the embroidery shop that was saved, but themselves. What is embroidered under the hands is flowers, and what is alive is people.
