Swallow Ashes

In the Dayao Dynasty, evil spirits are rampant. Lu Chen, a low-level corpse collector, unexpectedly gained the power of swallowing embers and could absorb embers from newly deceased strong men. Every time he becomes stronger, he is accompanied by burdens and backlash. He can only use his body as a furnace and his sword to clear the way, and collect the last remaining flames of evil spirits and evil people in troubled times.
