Deep in the Qinling Mountains, Lijiaao. An ordinary story that begins in an adobe house and spans seventy years across several generations. A boy walked step by step from a village elementary school with mud desks to a township middle school, a county high school, Nanjing University, the workplace in Xi'an, and finally returned to the starting point - the land that was once barren but is now awakening.
