Gonggong Legend

This is a mythical epic about ideals and costs. Floods raged in ancient times, and Gonggong controlled the floods for five years, saving 100,000 people from flooding. The queen, the successor of her brother Zhuanxu, decided to cut off the connection between the Heavenly Palace and Buzhou Mountain, and exchanged a world-destroying disaster for the eternal disturbance of meteorites. Gonggong couldn't accept it and led the mortals to fight bloody battles against heaven. During the war, Gonggong lost his wife and children, and all his brothers died. In despair, he angered Buzhou Mountain. From then on, the heavenly palace turned into a moon hanging in the night sky, and the rivers of the earth flowed eastward into the sea. This is a collision between man and god, protection and destruction. Zhuanxu exchanged destruction for eternity, Gonggong used his life to protect his eyes. There is no right or wrong, only the price - and the eternal gaze of the moon in the night sky. The sky is broken and the moon rises.
