Incense and Righteousness

In the seventeenth year of Emperor Qian Yuande's reign, Shen Yanzhou, the magistrate of Qingxi County, was an upright and honest man. He was imprisoned and executed after he refused to join the ranks of powerful officials. On the day of execution, thousands of people in Qingxi knelt down to see him off, with tears streaming down their faces. The resentment soaring to the sky and the incense and wishes made Shen Yanzhou become a god with a mortal body and the power of the wishes of all people when he was attacked by swords and axes. However, there is no list of him in heaven, and the city god does not associate with him. The immortal sect denounced him as a heretic, and the Shinto regarded him as a tyrant cross-country god. He is unable to ascend and does not practice magic. The only basis for his survival is the cold thoughts in the hearts of the people of Qingxi. In the year of severe drought, the Immortal Sect stood idle and the Heavenly Court was indifferent. He was the only one who went against the will of heaven and used his meager divine power to pray for rain in the world. The moment he broke the boundary between gods and humans, the eyes of the three worlds finally converged on this small green stream. There are no gods born in this world. Only those who pray for the people become gods after death. This is the story of a small earth god who entered the Shinto way through officialdom and embarked on the road to becoming a god step by step.
