The Legend of Huan Yi

Huan Yi, also known as Ziye, was a famous scholar in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and a generation of flute sage. He had both general talents and unrivaled musical skills. He made great achievements in the Battle of Feishui, was a simple and upright official, and was known as the best flute player in Jiangzuo. He holds the ancient Keting flute left by Cai Yong. He has an indifferent and free-spirited temperament and cares about the common people. He created an original and famous song "Three Plum Blossoms". In the novel "Legend of Huan Yi", he was raised by Taoist Wu of Jinshan Mountain. He came into the world at the age of sixteen holding a divine flute. He used music to cure diseases, save people, and uphold justice. He refused to accept high-ranking officials in the court. After going through turmoil, he retired to the mountains, and his pure music will be remembered for generations.
