Eightfold Echo

At first, he thought it was just a dream. Until one day, the world began to deny his existence. Everyone, records and memories are simultaneously erasing traces of his existence. This is not death, but cognitive collapse. When he is stripped away from the current world and falls into the next world, he will always take away a little residue: a memory, a scene, a familiar word. As the cycle progresses, he gradually realizes that these worlds are not the outside world, but the divided self. Eight worlds, eight cognitions, and eight segments of existence ultimately point to the same place: the center of the circle.
