Big World Department Store

On the day of his father's burial, Xu Guanlan received a phone call from his father. Xu Changgeng, who had been dead for two days, said only three things: Don't sell the mall. Before 11:59, break through the wall on the west side of the first floor. There's a child behind it. I owe him ten years. That night, every clock in Puchuan stopped at 11:59. Wounds stopped healing, babies could no longer be born, and the dying could not draw their final breath. Xu Guanlan broke through the wall that had been sealed for ten years and discovered a clock shop hidden behind it, along with a ledger recording every trade in the human world. The ledger read: When the last clockmaker puts down his tools, tomorrow will cease to exist. When the last tailor is gone, no tear will ever be mended again. When the last locksmith dies, every locked door will stay shut forever. To set the city moving toward tomorrow again, Xu Guanlan has no choice but to reopen the bankrupt mall his father left behind.
