Follow One's Heart

He is precocious, sensible, restrained, kind, and overly empathetic. From childhood to adulthood, I have never been willful, never demanding, and never rebellious. When studying, be considerate of family circumstances, and be obedient and hardworking; when choosing a profession, be considerate of parents, and give up love; when choosing a career, be considerate of family, and choose stability; for all choices in life, all must be compromised, obeyed, and fulfilled. For thirty years, the only rule he lived by was not to embarrass his parents and not to let others down. He lived his life as a perfect adult in everyone's eyes, except that he completely lost himself. At the age of thirty, the life that had long been bound by family affection, pressured by the world, wrapped up in the anxiety of marriage and love, and trapped by the shackles of common sense, finally collapsed and awakened.
