Beyond the Stars: Starting from the Oort Cloud

In 2247 AD, the human starship "Pathfinder" set sail from the L1 United Starport carrying 23 crew members. Their mission is to travel through the Oort Cloud at the very edge of the solar system and complete the last piece of the data puzzle of the metaverse of human civilization. Captain Fang Yu, the youngest deep space commander of the coalition government, thought this was just a routine scientific mission. His voyage plan is clear: cross the discrete disk, reach the inner edge of the Oort cloud, start full-spectrum environmental modeling, transmit the data back to Earth, and then return. But there is something waiting for them in the ancient ice dust that has been sealed for 4.6 Billion years. Fang Yu didn't know what it was. All he knew was that there was something in the dark depths of the Oort Cloud that had not been part of his mission briefing from the start.
