In June of the second year of Chongzhen. Yuan Chonghuan beheaded Mao Wenlong, and the Dongjiang River was shaken; the Liao Dynasty was short of pay, and the capital camp was empty; the hungry people in Shaanxi gathered in crowds, and Hou Jin in the north was sharpening his sword.
