Border Residents: I Guard the Border with One Village

As a commoner, Yang Jinsheng gathered a group of scattered villagers and built a three-dimensional defense system from scratch (tunnel bunker, checkpoint traps, early warning mechanism, villagers' militia), improved farming, hoarded grain and grass, and stockpiled weapons, and repeatedly defeated the deadly crises such as harassment by small groups of Jiehu, strong attacks by large groups, spies, cold winter blockades, and tribal encirclement. From protecting a village of young and old, to intimidating the ten-mile border, to becoming a border barrier that no one dares to invade, the shaky border defense line of Dajing was propped up with the help of ordinary people.
