Gray Town Annals

Hui Town is located in a basin, surrounded by mountains on three sides. The fog gets heavier every year. The town is not big, with four streets, east, west, north and south, and it takes half an hour to walk around. On East Street there is Aunt Zhao's bun shop, Li Zizi's teahouse, and Carpenter Shen's coffin shop. There is a small river outside the town called Wangchuan River. The water is so muddy that one person drowns every year. Some people are dead but alive, and some people are alive but dead.
