Still On

A girl from out of town who was laid off, a takeaway rider with no future, a housekeeping aunt who was disliked by her son, and a divorced night shift clerk. The four of them were strangers to each other in the huge city of Hangzhou and struggled on their own. They relied on mobile phones to maintain weak connections with the outside world all year round and hid their embarrassment. Until a super typhoon cuts off the city's signal and network, they are forced to break away from the shackles of the screen, face reality, meet the real each other, and finally unlock the self and sincerity that have been trapped for a long time.
