Saint of the Gray Fog

At the dawn of the world, the gods vanished. When the Gray Veil descended, the sun and stars became taboos. Ancient bloodlines sank into the earth and into legend, while humanity built isolated cities in the fog and struggled to survive.

Yet darkness was not the only thing watching.

When the heart of the Sword Saint was torn from her chest and offered upon an altar, her dying question tore through the Gray Veil and reached the heavens. Clive, who had become light, answered her.

No one knew where this realm came from, nor who the keeper walking in the light truly was.

Clive gave them a sanctuary beyond the veil, where blue skies and clear water still remained. He gave them swords and faith, revenge and redemption.

And the souls he had gathered from the abyss would follow that nameless light, cross the Gray Veil, and return to the battlefield.

Beyond the Gray Veil, the truth of the old days is beginning to awaken.

Perhaps the gods left long ago.
