The star sea is divided into five levels of star fields by an invisible barrier. Those in power in the inner ring discard scrapped mechas in batches, turning them into residual waves of radiation that permeate the sea of ​​​​stars. They rely on the exclusive sale of anti-radiation drugs to firmly control the scavengers at the bottom of the outer ring. Zhang Yan grew up in a pile of wreckage. Years of being immersed in the wreckage permanently damaged his nerves. He also unexpectedly acquired the special ability to sense machines and read the thoughts of silicon-crystal aliens.
