After the Collapse of the Gods

Gods go bankrupt, temples close down, wish companies go public, and unemployed gods sign "wish debt contracts" with ordinary people; the protagonist is the only one who can see the interest on wishes, and he must drive the gods back to the altar in a city that is dragged down by wishes.
