God's Will and People's Will

In the third year when the strange fog spread, a new type of strangeness appeared in a seemingly ordinary city - it would imitate the voices of the dead and lure the living into a trap. Six mysterious masters with different backgrounds are gathered here by an invisible net: some want to find their missing relatives, some want to uncover the source of the mysterious fog, and some just want to live. But they soon discovered that the strange thing in front of them was just the tip of the iceberg - a larger chess game had already been laid out, and each of them was a chess piece on the chess board that could not be withdrawn. When the truth approaches, they must choose between trusting each other and staying alone - because in this war, the most dangerous thing may not be strangeness, but the human heart.
