National Fate: Manifesting Mythology, Starting with The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl

Mythology has vanished, and the sky screen descends! The world enters an age of mythology ruled by national destiny. Nations inherit divine authority: Olympus holds the world in its grip, Takamagahara hangs high above, and the Creation Scripture alone commands causality. Only Daxia, its history fractured, has become a “rootless nation” with no gods to protect it. Trampled by every country, its national destiny teeters on the brink! Su Chen, who transmigrated here, looks at the other nations’ mythology, riddled with holes and built like bandit fiefdoms, and can’t help but sneer. “The gods of Olympus created the world so people could become slaves? Sakura Country is treating drafts stolen from Daxia as divine revelations?” “Our mythological heritage? If Daxia reveals even a corner of it, your fake gods’ thrones will crumble in terror!” At the national destiny hearing, the other nations unleash the pressure of their gods, hoping to wipe Daxia out once and for all. At this critical moment, Professor Chen is too ill to take the stage. Eighteen-year-old Su Chen climbs the sky screen’s high platform alone! Facing the cold stares and jeers of billions, Su Chen produces Daxia’s creation myth, “Pangu Creates the World”! “Look closely. This is how heaven and earth came to be!” A giant axe cleaves primordial chaos, and flesh and blood become mountains and rivers! A perfect divine miracle descends. Daxia’s national destiny surges ninety thousand miles into the sky, and the world’s powers spit blood and fall to their knees! But this is only the beginning. The War of the Gods erupts. The nations’ armies of living gods advance, mocking Daxia because its ancient creator god is dead. Su Chen stands with his hands behind his back before the Southern Heavenly Gate, his gaze icy: “Heaven and earth are collapsing, and mortals face annihilation? In the next lesson, I’ll present the Supreme Mother Goddess’s ‘Nüwa Creates Humanity and Mends the Heavens’!” From that night on, the twilight of the gods officially begins!
