The Legend of Cangzhou Lion City: a Dream of Nanchuan

Why can Nanchuan Tower become a holy place of love in the three realms? "Liezi·Tangwen" records that the Guixu land east of the Bohai Sea in Cangzhou leads to where? How many immortals live on the Qingfeng Immortal Island beside Guixu? What was the original intention of Li Yunxianjun, the headmaster of the Qingfengxian Sect, to cast the Zhenhai Roar and the Iron Lion? Why did Venerable Green Lion, a direct disciple of Manjushri Bodhisattva, make that thousand-year promise with the ancient city of Cangzhou? Why is the Heilonggang River area full of saline-alkali wasteland with no vegetation? She also told me some dusty old stories: the dragon girl brewed Cang wine, the immortal killed the evil dragon, the three elders poured wine in the river, the origin of Langyin Tower, and the reason why Shen Qingci turned into fish bones and the incense of the Fish Bone Temple continued. She also mentioned the old story of the emperor's daughter in "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", where the emperor was E Huang and the daughter was Nvying. Later I learned that this emperor's daughter of the Qingqiu Fox Clan also had a name that had been forgotten by the world—Su Mianmian. The long-lost past events in her mouth led me to write paragraphs of words; it was precisely because I put pen to paper that the ancient legend spread across the land of Cangzhou. And these ancient legends have created her who is meeting me in my dream at this moment.
