Song Yutang, a famous actress in the Republic of China opera troupe, always won acclaim every time she sang "The Peony Pavilion", but she always felt that her singing was lacking in soul. One day I heard a blind man singing the same tune on the street, and the desolation struck my heart and lungs. Yutang paid a lot of money to ask for advice, but the blind man refused.
