System: Puppet

“Do you think you have me under your control?”

The Myriad Worlds Plunder System descends upon this world and successfully binds itself to a Host.

For ages, it has roamed countless planes, accustomed to ruling over all beings. It is certain that the person before it is nothing more than a pawn to be used at its will.

One task after another is completed without a hitch, and endless opportunities follow close behind. Yet the System’s backend is often plagued by inexplicable errors, and an unease it cannot shake lingers in its heart.

No matter how many times it checks the data, it cannot find the cause of these anomalies.

For countless nights and days, those words remain hidden in the Host’s heart, never once revealing themselves.

Only when the game reaches its end does the question ring out again.

“So, do you really have me under your control?”
