Puppet Master

Mo Fei, the last heir of the Mohist school, breaks free from the constraints of traditional mechanical arts and creates a secret technique for binding souls. He travels far and wide, gathering the remnants of wandering, homeless spirits and sealing them inside puppets made of wood and iron. Day after day, he nourishes the dolls with his own vital energy and spiritual power, giving life to cold, lifeless objects.

But under his long-term care, the puppets slowly develop minds of their own. Will these awakened creations break free of their shackles and turn against their maker, or will they walk alongside him, relying on one another? Are these newborn beings an unforeseen disaster, or an untrodden path into the future?
