The Lagrange Chronicles: the Rise and Fall of the Stargate

This is a hard science fiction work that tells the history of the world view of the game "Endless Lagrange". The story begins with mankind's first realization of controllable nuclear fusion in 2045 AD, and runs through the breakthrough of curvature drive technology, the establishment of the stargate network, the prosperity of the Golden Age, the all-out war that swept half of the galaxy, the regression of civilization in the Dark Age, and the reconstruction of order in the Renaissance Era. The work takes macro narrative as the main axis and focuses on how technological revolution shapes the pattern of civilization - the energy revolution gave birth to interstellar pioneering, the curvature drive broke the shackles of the speed of light, and the birth of the star gate knitted scattered galaxies into a transportation network across the galaxy. This network brought unprecedented prosperity and sown the seeds of conflict. When the war broke out and the star gate was reduced to ruins, mankind relearned unity and coexistence in the ashes.
