This Is a World of Awakening Worlds

This is a world almost exactly like ours. The same city, the same streets, the same people running for life. The same birth, growth, schooling, work, and old age. The same joys and sorrows, the same love and hatred. There is only one difference. On the night of their eighteenth birthday, everyone has to make a choice. You can fall asleep as usual. Nothing will happen. Wake up the next day and continue your normal life. You can also recite a short sentence that everyone knows silently before going to bed. Then, your consciousness will enter another world. That world has its own mountains and rivers, its own sun, moon and stars, its own creatures and laws. How long you stay there is just one night in reality. The next morning, you may wake up. Or maybe not. Sixty percent of people will never open their eyes again. Forty percent of people will wake up. Most of them found that they had acquired some unusual abilities. Some people can control flames, some can heal wounds quickly, and some can temporarily levitate in the air. A few have greater abilities—the ability to fly, manipulate metal, and teleport over short distances. A very small number of people have gained near-immortal bodies, or the ability to change the molecular structure of matter. But there is no mind control, no mind reading, no ability to control destiny. These people, with different abilities and different levels, have to do whatever they want to do when they wake up the next day. That's the only difference in this world.
