Burning Age

One hundred years ago, during the "Battle of the Broken Hub", humans used nuclear weapons and network viruses to destroy the Hub Network system that ruled the world, as well as the 512 Hub Spirits bound by the system. The price is the collapse of civilization—the power grid is permanently damaged, global networks are polluted, and all cities that rely on the backbone to operate are turned into scrap metal graves. The survivors returned to the physical age and established a new city-state civilization on the ruins. The legacy of the old era is called "pivot skeleton" - the hardware fragments of the pivot network system and the consciousness fragments of the pivot spirit. They are scattered across the land, carrying incomplete technology, broken memories of old times, and cursed knowledge. People who pick up, trade, and study bones are called "bone pickers."
