The Man Living in the Grave Said He Had Been Waiting for Me for Fourteen Years

A common grave is just a mound of earth, with a monument erected in front of it and some paper money burned during festivals. The tomb was built like a small house - it had green brick walls and a black tile roof. It had a half-person-high wooden door on the front, and the red paint on the door had long since faded to a rusty color. A low, knee-high stone wall surrounded the tomb. Sharpened peach wood stakes were inserted into the stone wall every other step. The stakes were connected with white hemp ropes, and a copper coin was hung on the rope every three inches.
