Ashes Source Silence

In the old days, human civilization collapsed due to exposure to the "original darkness". Gray rain fell from the sky without stopping. The earth was polluted by dark matter. Animals and plants were deformed into "eclipse beasts". Human survivors huddled in city-states surrounded by high walls, wilderness strongholds and underground ruins to survive. There is no god or salvation in the world. All extraordinary powers come from the absorption of dark matter, and the price of absorbing dark matter is the gradual loss of humanity and eventual alienation into monsters. The major forces claim order, light, and revival, but in fact they are plundering resources, squeezing the bottom, and competing for the relics of the old era and high-level dark matter. The whole world is a huge meat grinder. Survival is the first rule for everyone, and the higher you stand, the dirtier the blood on your hands.
