After humans truly entered the universe, they did not immediately become more noble. They just took everything from the old era to further places. Poverty was brought into orbit, war was brought out of the atmosphere, class was written into the immigration bill, exploitation was packaged as development, monopoly was disguised as order, and hunger, debt, identity screening and inequality were regrown on the new colonial stars, but they were covered with a brighter, more advanced and harder to question shell.
