Myth, Reality

Science fiction is reality myth. Myth is the collective fantasy and ultimate awe of ancient humans when they faced the unknown universe, the power of nature, and the fate of life and death. It is the first generation of "future deduction" of primitive civilization; science fiction is a new myth continued by modern humans relying on reason and technology. It is civilization's contemporary questioning of boundaries, limits, and eternity. Humanity has completed a closed loop of civilization that spans tens of thousands of years: the Classic of Mountains and Seas, ancient fairy tales, folk clairvoyance, wind ears, soaring in the clouds and mists, moving mountains and reclaiming seas, have been implemented one by one into earthly reality through the Internet, aerospace technology, heavy industry infrastructure, and biotechnology. And science fiction never stops at recreating ancient myths. While technology is fulfilling old fantasies, it is constantly heading towards more distant unknowns: deep-sea cities, Dyson structures, curvature navigation, dimensional jumps, immortality of consciousness... These modern people's science fiction fantasies are growing in the hard soil of reality, and are growing into greater wonder and awe belonging to interstellar civilization. Old myths die from the implementation of technology, while new myths are born from human exploration. The cycle continues and civilization continues.
