The Ashen Witch's Final Judgment

By a twist of fate, Ye Zhi transmigrated into the game Godfall, becoming Xiao Jin, the protagonist of the sixth scenario, The Last Embers: one of the only seven Ashenborn left, and the heir to the power of the phoenix.

A veteran gamer who had conquered the first five scenarios, Ye Zhi used his understanding of the game to live a second life. As he made money, built up his strength, cultivated, and advanced, he also used the hidden information mentioned in the game's text to move among the various factions. After three years of growth and five years on the path to godhood, he would take his beloved and happily return home.

But as he explored further, Ye Zhi realized that his unexpected arrival had disrupted the gods' grand plans.

The departed gods rose again from history; a giant serpent in the shadows devoured the world's foundations; the fate-weaving spider turned its spinning wheel and unleashed bloodshed; the puppet on the imperial throne did everything in its power to spread order; the clock hands in the tower revolved as mechanical gears ground the shackles of the past to dust; the shepherdess carrying a lamp guided her flock toward a paradise beyond this world...

A "player" from a higher dimension had fallen into this turbulent era. With the end drawing near, they looked back on history, judgment in hand, and decided the world's future: would the embers of the old world flare back to life, or would they fall silent forever?
