Invisible Side

I am the youngest silent listener on "Cocoon". My duty is to head into deep space and listen for the echo from my hometown. During three thousand years of loneliness, I captured a signal that should not exist - from the earth that we define as a "petri dish." A human girl's starry sky live broadcast, the frequency of her voiceprint perfectly coincides with that of my lost home planet. After tracing it, I discovered a secret that had been sealed away for billions of years by the upper levels of civilization: the organic matter leaked by our spacecraft in ancient times was the origin of life on earth. We are not spectators, we are sowers. And when the human probe broke into the Silent Canyon and the superiors ordered to start the "cleanup process", I had to make a choice: obey the code and let the girl and her world disappear; or betray civilization and send a warning to this blue planet. I chose the third path.
