After Ashfall

After the outbreak of the war, nuclear weapons, biological weapons and unknown energy went out of control, and the old world collapsed overnight. Ash fell covering cities, diseases spread among the ruins, animals, plants and humans began to alienate, and more than 90% of the world's population died in wars and disasters. The survivor Lin Jin woke up in the underground ruins of the coastal city. There was no signal, no rescue, only a bottle of water, a folding knife, and the alien creatures gradually approaching in the darkness. The catastrophe is not over. Between pollution, hunger, betrayal and death, some survivors began to awaken their evolutionary abilities. Some people become stronger, some lose control and become monsters, some keep the order of the old world, and some draw swords just for a mouthful of water. Lin Jin met with remnants of the military, doctors, shelter escapees, wilderness survivors and others one after another, migrating all the way from the ruins of the city, through the radiation wasteland, the disease blockade zone and the mutated forest. They initially just want to survive. It was not until later that they discovered that survival was not enough. When the old civilization is reduced to ashes, someone must rekindle the new world.
