Hold On, This Is Not the End

Relay wedge Forty-seven years of the Tower Calendar, the last year of the Ashes Era. The Tower of Babel has stood in the north for four hundred and seventy years, and no one has ever seen its top. According to legend, the top of the tower is connected to the long-lost Sky City, where the "source fire" that can reverse the depletion of the world is stored. But in the past four hundred and seventy years, all the teams that tried to climb the tower turned back midway. The stories brought back by those who came back alive were different, but they pointed to the same conclusion: Towers can eat people. Each level has different rules, different curses, and different ways to die. No one can survive through all levels, because it is impossible for one person to be proficient in mechanisms, sophistry, fighting, faith, betrayal and sacrifice at the same time. So the Holy Mountain Council issued an unprecedented order—— "There is no limit on the number of people, no limit on batches, no limit on life and death. As long as someone can reach the top of the tower, the whole team will share the glory." They call it "Project Relay." Translated into human words: die one after another until someone survives and reaches the end.
