They chose an elegant way: accelerating the collision of the Indian and Eurasian plates, causing the Himalayas to rise 20 million years ahead of schedule. Geologist Shen Yu discovered fragments of this history at a depth of 3,200 meters in the Qaidam Basin, and pieced together a causal chain spanning 55 million years. She was expelled from the academic community. Three years later, the parent body of the time capsule is approaching the Earth from the orbit of Neptune. Shen Yu returned to the no-man's land and embarked on mankind's first interstellar defense journey using deep-earth mechas, quantum AI and space impactors.
