"A Crack in the Earth" is the fourth science fiction novel in the "Countercurrent" series. It inherits the setting of the second and third parts. It is set in the near future, but it closely focuses on the oldest and most essential questions of mankind: who are we, what should we remember, and what makes a "created" life finally become a "human".
