Azur Lane: I Just Got Fired, and All the Shipgirls Turned Dark

[Fiercely protective] + [Extreme contrast] + [Island farming] + [Yandere love triangle]

To defend Azur Lane, Lin En fought bloodily on the front lines for three years and built an invincible fleet that never lost a ship. But amid infighting among the brass, he was stripped of his title as Commander and exiled to a deserted island.

Faced with an arrogant, parachuted-in heir, Lin En didn't get angry. He calmly severed all his mental links and walked away.

“Just so you know, without my authorization, you won't be able to command even one of their secondary anti-aircraft guns.”

As soon as Lin En left, he activated the [Laid-Back Island Development System], ready to enjoy the sea breeze, fish for big catches, and live like an immortal in retirement.

The very next moment, all of Azur Lane erupted into chaos!

Cut off from that warm soul link, the port's top shipgirls... all went dark and berserk!

Akagi's nine tails blotted out the sky as foxfire filled the heavens and trained on headquarters: “Give me my Commander back, or I'll burn this place to ashes. Hehe...”

Enterprise drew her bow of lightning, her gaze cold as the abyss: “Strip him of his command? Who gave you the nerve!”

Illustrious led the Royal Navy fleet in an immediate mass strike: “Insects who don't even understand etiquette don't deserve to be saved.”

When the Siren forces came bearing down and headquarters' defenses crumbled like paper, the brass knelt before a live broadcast watched by the entire internet, weeping as they begged Lin En to come out of retirement and save the world.

Meanwhile, Lin En was stretched out on a beach chair at a top-tier island fortress, eating peeled grapes that Taiho fed him by hand.

Watching the shipgirls fight for his attention, he spread his hands helplessly:

“I've retired to enjoy my golden years. What do I care if your headquarters lives or dies?”
