Honghuang: Duobao of the Jie Sect, Defying Fate

The last disciple of the Shangqing lineage of the Jie Sect falls and transmigrates into the primordial world. By an incredible twist of fate, he becomes the Jie Sect's senior-most disciple and is granted the Daoist title Duobao. Heaven's cycles turn, and reincarnation never ceases. The Shangqing lineage ended with his passing, yet his rebirth will mark its beginning anew. This time, he swears to defy fate and change his destiny. He cannot stand by and watch the Shangqing Jie Sect fall so easily. He creates the Five Elements Body Tempering Art, refines the Innate Five Directions Banners, and makes himself invincible and immortal. The seven apertures become divine weapons: he exhales white qi, hears the thoughts of others, absorbs the power of the Three Calamities, speaks words of truth, and attains clarity of the sword heart. He opens 365 great acupoints throughout his body and devours celestial treasures, creating a universe within himself. Formations link together in endless succession: this is the Dao of Duobao. With foresight and all-encompassing knowledge, he surveys the primordial world, tends the withered branches of the great sect, and gathers its peerless young talents. If anyone dares challenge the Shangqing lineage again, try to suppress the great sect, destroy its foundations, and wipe it from existence, then do not blame this Daoist for sacrificing his flesh and blood to overturn the heavens and make every sage understand: the Jie Sect's proud backbone is hard as diamond. It will never bend, not until the bitter end.
