Coroner's Conservation Law

Fog Harbor Kingdom, Holm Oak City. Shen Yan, who comes from a family of forensic doctors, has been exposed to corpses with his family since he was a child, and has seen many anomalies that cannot be written into reports. As an adult, he became the coroner of the city police station and assisted the police in solving suspicious cases with his calm and precise autopsy judgment. Until a watchmaker's corpse "doesn't rot according to time" is sent to the morgue. It was less than eight hours after death, but the body seemed to have been putrefying for three days; the temperature in the chest was lower than the skin; the pocket watch stopped at a time that did not belong to the crime scene. Shen Yan refused to sign an ordinary death report, and therefore got involved in a series of supernatural cases. He gradually discovered that the supernatural in this world would not be eliminated. It can only transfer, deposit, parasitize, seal, and balance. The so-called solving a crime sometimes means just finding the murderer; while the so-called dealing with supernatural beings means deciding who will bear the remaining pollution. When corpses, relics, files, streets and even the names of living people become carriers of supernatural substances, Shen Yan must use forensic evidence, family prohibitions and his own judgment to fight for a true rest for the deceased.
