In May 1945, the puppet Manchukuo fell to Fengtian. At the border of Chen Bing of the Soviet Red Army, the Kwantung Army's defeat was determined, and a secret order was issued to secretly transport the 1,500 kilograms of gold collected back to the mainland, codenamed "Winter Goose". Fang Jingtang, the young owner of Fang's trading company who returned from studying in Japan, accidentally learned of the information and was involved in a life-and-death battle between the Anti-Japanese Alliance, the Military Command, and the Japanese Army.
