He dreamed that he had killed a man. When he was burying the body, his nails were split, and blood and mud were mixed together on his knuckles. His best friend bumped into him, and he almost broke his friend's neck. I woke up and realized it was a dream. Three days later, the man he killed in the dream appeared at the entrance to the village. They're not here to kill him, they're here to pick him up. The man asked him to follow him, saying that his father's death in the mine three years ago was not an accident, that there was an organization called the Golden Order that was hunting down everyone who knew the truth, and that his father had locked something into his body. Such things are called "ruins". He asked what the ruins were, but no one told him. He is afraid of heights, pain, and death. I peed on my pants in the wilderness, dug up dirt with my bare hands in a mine tunnel collapse, blocked someone's knife, and was dragged out of a pile of dead people. He never wanted to be a hero. He just wants to live.
