Errata

Shen Yue (later renamed Shen Yue) is Corrigendum No. 4217 Of the "Corrigendum Department". Her job is to revise "realistic errors" in the world - coffee cups are moved when they shouldn't be, streetlights flicker when they shouldn't. She has an "errata pen" that can correct these errors. But gradually she discovered: "Realistic errors" are actually "textual errors"** - what she revised is not reality, but the words themselves that make up the world. - Her number "4217" is the number of cycles** - the story has been restarted 4216 times, each time being deleted when she "closed to the truth". She is not the real "Shen Yue" - she is a character in a story, and the "original author" disappeared four thousand years ago. In the story, Shen Yue meets **Lin Heng** - a woman who should not exist, but can remember all deleted versions. Lin Heng is the only character who makes this story "worth reading". As the truth is revealed, Shen Yue discovers that the "errata pen" in his hand is actually a "meta-author's pen" - it can rewrite reality, create new plots, and even - turn characters into authors. But the story has a "suicidal impulse": **The words "Full text complete" will delete the entire story**. The first 4,216 Shen Yue attempts all failed to varying degrees. The 4217th time Shen Yue (renamed Shen Yue) must make a choice: Let the story loop forever** (like the proofreader wants)? Or be brave enough to write a true ending for this story?
