A Writer's Dream

In 2013, three young people from rural areas met in the computer department of a university in Harbin and lived together in dormitory 766 for three years. Li Qiang is from Hubei, Liu Meng is from Henan, and Yu Xiang is from Jiangxi. When they were students, they played games and wrote code online, thinking that their youth and friendship would never end. In the spring of 2016, three people graduated with master's degrees and were recruited from school to join Factory A, a major Internet company in Hangzhou. Li Qiang pursues technological advancement and buying a house to settle down, Liu Meng longs for a promotion and a salary increase so that his mother can live a good life, and Yu Xiang processes data during the day and writes novels that no one cares about late at night. In the past eight years, they have experienced overtime work on Double Eleven, huge losses in currency speculation, the death of their mother, overwork and illness, and failed promotions - the melting pot of life has forged everyone into different shapes. In 2020, Yu Xiang resigned and opened a convenience store, slowly turning it into a "convenience store + bookstore", living in the store, and insisting on purely manual writing in the fireworks world.
