Forging the World by the Rules

In the primordial age of chaos, before the world was formed, our ancestors had already begun recording the forms of all things in the world on stone tablets, compiling them into illustrated volumes. But nothing is ever perfect, and no one is flawless. As the years and seasons passed, many of those tablets, large and small, survived in fragments. Of all the volumes passed down to this day, the most famous is known as the Book of Worldly Laws.

It is said that when chaos first began to part and all things were still without awareness, a strange sight appeared in the heavens. A vast ring emerged in the ninth heaven, with countless galaxies flowing across it and slowly circling within. As they gradually settled into place, the world’s extraordinary beings and treasures began to emerge, like shoots after a spring rain.

The people who passed down this story had a hard life. Generation after generation, they could only remain in one corner of the newly formed world. Their descendants, confused and unable to understand why, scattered in every direction, carrying the story with them. This line of people came to be known as
