You’re Supposed to Tell Fortunes on Livestream, So Why Are You Helping the Police Hunt Criminals Across the Internet?

Lin Xuan inherited a dilapidated Taoist temple and was so broke he couldn't even pay for internet access. With no other choice, he started livestreaming fortune-telling. At first, viewers thought he was just a con artist out to scam them, until Lin Xuan connected with a notorious online show-off. "Master, tell me when my new girlfriend will have a son." Lin Xuan smiled faintly. "You've got a bit of a green hat on your head, my friend. Not only is your girlfriend carrying your enemy's child, but this morning she also pushed your mother down the stairs to scam the insurance company. Don't turn around: her lover is hiding under your bed with a knife!" As soon as he finished speaking, a scream rang out in the livestream, followed by the wail of sirens! The whole internet erupted! After that, Lin Xuan's livestreams went completely off the rails. A lovesick young woman called in to ask about romance: "Your online boyfriend is a scam-ring boss in northern Myanmar. He's butchering victims right now." A billionaire heiress called in to find her dog: "It's under the osmanthus tree in the backyard. Oh, and by the way, your ex-husband's body is there too. Your current husband buried it. The police will be at the scene in thirty seconds." Criminals across the internet trembled in fear: "Please, just ban him! Every time he goes live, he blows up the police station's performance targets!"
