In the Bianchen year, Hexi was in turmoil. As the imperial court expanded its borders, the trade routes in the Western Regions were at war; officers, soldiers and bandits were rampant, and the people were displaced. In this vast and desolate land, a gang named "Zhenshan Tiger" is experiencing a path of decline from prosperity to collapse. The story begins with a hasty escape. The boss, Lin Cangyue, was once a greenwood hero who was full of ideals and claimed to "rob the rich and give to the poor." After leading a gang to commit a major crime in Hekou Town, he was surrounded by the government and enemies. He was forced to flee and was trapped deep in the snow-torn Qilian Mountains. In the ruins of Duanhao Valley, gangs struggled to survive, suffering from hunger and cold, and their hearts wandering.
