In the fourth year of the apocalypse, the world is desolate after the collapse of civilization. Mutated creatures are rampant, resources are depleted, and survivors huddle in shelters transformed from ruins to survive. Jiang Yu is an ordinary mechanic at Anchor Point Shelter. While searching for supplies, he accidentally touched a metal plate engraved with patterns and activated the "Wasteland Construction System" - a system that seemed to have no combat effectiveness. It can't let him fly into the sky and escape, nor can it let him blow the heads of mutated creatures. But it allows him to understand how to build a bridge, build a wall, and lay an underground pipeline. Starting from the first reinforced dormitory, Jiangyu built walls, water purification plants, power stations, and greenhouses. While other shelters were still killing each other for bread, his "New World City" already had streetlights, markets and schools. Until a group of military pioneers came to the city - they brought weapons and hunger, while Jiang Yu only had a city blueprint and a group of people who no longer wanted to wander.
