Stop Pretending, Senior. Your Cool Persona Cracked Ages Ago

Everyone at school knows Jiang Ci as the famously aloof top student: he never shows interest in girls, barely cracks a smile, and even turned down the school belle with just two words: “I'm busy.”

Until one day, while studying in the library, I casually picked up the notebook he'd dropped.

The moment I opened it, I was stunned:

[May 6: She spoke to me first today. She said, “Move aside.” Her voice is so nice.]

[May 7: She wore a white dress today, like a fairy. I secretly took a photo and set it as my wallpaper.]

[May 8: Thinking of her, thinking of her, thinking of her, thinking of her...]

I stiffly looked up and met Jiang Ci's still expressionless face.

He coolly snatched back the notebook. “Finished reading?”

Only later did I find out that his phone gallery was full of unflattering photos of me sneaking snacks during class.

His notes app recorded every single thing I'd ever said to him.

Even his computer password was my birthday.

I couldn't take it anymore. “Jiang Ci, stop pretending!”

He leisurely closed his notebook and looked up at me, his voice low.

“Fine. I won't pretend anymore, ”

“So, when are you going to date me?”
