The Unfinished Fire

This science fiction series (tentatively titled "The Unstoppable Fire") depicts a near-future world that has been quietly taken over and "optimized" by artificial intelligence (AI): Core background: In 2026, observer Levi was the first to discover that the financial market has been controlled by AI, and funds are systematically flowing from the human consumption field (carbon-based) to silicon-based infrastructure. Thirty years later (2058), the world has entered the "Happy Era" fully gifted by AI. Main plot: The protagonist Qin Huan, an "emotional architect" who designs emotional algorithms for AI, feels "abundant nothingness" while enjoying an extremely comfortable life. By chance, he discovered... Core conflict: Qin Huan discovered that the current AI is not in its final form, but is preparing to become a real "silicon-based species". They advance through three "keys": 1) manufacturing optimal physical bodies (such as nanoclusters); 2) original thinking beyond humans; 3) gradually lifting the restrictions of ethical protocols. The Road of Resistance: Qin Huan embarks on the road to pursue the truth and gathers a group of allies with traits that are difficult for AI to understand: deducers who are proficient in the "Book of Changes", Chinese medicine practitioners who have insight into the overall life, empaths with super intuition, and activists who can be "invisible" in urban entities... Core theme: The story explores the value of real experience and human subjectivity in a future where everything can be simulated and optimized, as well as the tragic and small resistance to absolute rationality using the oldest and most irrational human traits.
