Plants and trees awaken from desolation, weave networks with their roots, and water life with their sap—this is how Qing Yi was born. Silver blood flows under their skin, sharing the memories and emotions of the mother plant. They sing about light and roots in the living forest city, thinking that they are nature's beloved children. However, on the ruins after the roots were broken, in the cold winter of cannibalism, in front of the beating heart of the first planted tree, three lives that were not favored by fate answered the same question in their own way: If the essence of existence is an eternal harvest, do we still have the right to choose how to die?
